I am Finnish and still this language keeps amazing me.

Tappaa = To kill

Tapappa =  If you feel like killing (someone) go ahead

Pappa = Grandpa

Tapappa pappa. = Go ahead and kill grandpa.(/If you feel like killing grandpa, go ahead.)

#but then there’s tapaa which means to meet someone #Tapaappa pappa = Go ahead and meet grandpa.

Tapaappa ja tapata pappa = Go ahead and meet the grandpa and get him killed.

Tapatappa pappa kun tapaatte = go ahead and get your grandfather killed when you meet him

Tapatappa pappa tapaamatta pappaa = Go ahead and get grandpa killed without meeting grandpa.

wtf…Probably I’m going to stay in Finland for eight months, of course I will have to learn Finnish and these posts scare me a lot….Is it so difficult to learn?
